About weaponary
First of all, this is a world that has been silent for quite a long while now. The war has ended, but there is no industry of any sort really, which means that there is not much anything new around.
Knives and small swords are the most common type of weapons you might come across in this scattered world. They are not specially rare, and you can easily find them from the blacksmiths or marketplaces. Some people might trade them for other goods and so on.
New and usable firearms are extremely rare. Most weapons found from the terrain and the old buildings used by the army are in rust and malfunctioning. Guns that are in medium to good condition are luxury items - things that pass from father to son.
RULES:
1. If your character has any weapons as they are created, they will have to be accepted by staff member at the time your character is accepted
1,1. You cannot have more than two starting weapons
1,2. Include in your characters story how he/she(/it) obtained the item. (this better be good)
1,3. Anyone can start out with a basic knife, such as a kitchen knife or pocket knife, but a knife that was crafted specifically to be a weapon would require an explanation of how the character obtained it/why they had it in their home.
2. There is no limit to how many weapons your character may own, but let's keep it realistic, shall we? They can only carry so many without their movements being hindered, and if they store their weapons it would have to be in a pretty safe place - weapons lying around are free game and bound to be stolen.
3. Seventh rule of this RP: "You cannot permanently injure/kill/physically restrain a character. You must have permission from the other character's owner before you do anything of that."
4. All firearms (pistols, rifles, grenades, etc. etc.) need to be accepted by staff member before they can be used. This means ALL firearms. No matter if they are bought from the market or obtained some other way.
5. All firearms, bows, and such have limited amount of ammunition, keep count of these in your inventory. (Also keep in mind that specific kind of ammunition, for example, may be hard to find)
6. Owning a weapon doesn't make you a god. Seriously.
NOTE: Exceptions may be granted, PM a staff member about issues so they can decide whether the reason for the exception is good enough.
